Sam Kuhn

Sam Kuhn developed an early interest in architecture and construction through hands-on projects and design exploration. As a teenager, a collection of Frank Lloyd Wright books sparked a lasting commitment to pursuing a career in architecture.

After graduating from the University of South Florida, Sam returned to his hometown of Pensacola in 2015 and joined SMP Architecture. There, he contributed to a broad range of local projects that supported Pensacola’s historic neighborhoods and urban fabric.

After three years at SMP, Sam followed his lifelong dream and relocated to the Pacific Northwest to broaden his experience. Over three years in Portland, Oregon, and four years on Bainbridge Island, Washington, he further strengthened his architectural design and project management capabilities, with a primary focus on commercial and high-end custom residential work.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys travel, sports, and comedy, and values time with friends and family. He also enjoys hiking with his dog, Moe.
